Episode I - Fado (ATL)

First Post!

Fado Irish Pub Atlanta has the honor of being the first stop for the Reuben Ranger.

Appearance - (4.5/5.0)
This was a great looking sandwich. I also loved the sleek plate it came on, it almost made me forget I was about to ingest ~900 calories. The one thing I did not like was the toothpick. I am very anti-toothpick in my food. I am terrifed I am going to forget about it and spear my gums.

Quality of Ingredients - (4.7/5.0)
I really like the rye bread with a solid marble look.  The folks at Fado have gone for a coleslaw instead of the traditional sauerkraut.  I have to say I liked it and it did taste homemade.

Price - (3.9/5.0)
Coming in at $10.95 this was not cheap but I did enjoying it during "free" trivia.

Je Ne Sais Quoi -  (4.8/5.0)
Maybe it was the fact that it was the first one on this blog I have wanted to do for so long? Maybe it was the plate? I don't know.

Taste -  (9.2/10.0)
The grilled rye gave a nice touch.  The coleslaw was sweet but did not overpower the tender corned beef.  The Marie Rose was excellent and tasted homemade.

Overall - (27.1/30.0)
Solid sandwich. I ate the whole thing and would order it again.

Get excited folks!  More Reuben adventures to come.
